After a 20+ years international career as an Executive Manager in the Telecommunications Industry, Catherine has received her Master’s in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in 2015. Catherine has created Opal counseling Center in 2015 and works with Children and their families. She works primarily with gifted, twice exceptional, and hypersensitive children, specializes in Adoption, Foster care, Autism Spectrum, ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorders. Catherine loves to work with horses as partners; they help children learn how to be in relationship with themselves and others. In this experiential process children can resolve behavioral challenges (like anger outbursts, hyperactivity, social isolation, bullying etc...). In addition to her degree in Psychology, Catherine is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning with Path International and has completed the level 1 of the EAGALA Certification. Catherine is also Certified in Synergetic Play therapy and is trained in EMDR. If Catherine had a superpower, what would it be: teleportation A fun fact about Catherine: Catherine has been riding since over 35 years. She has learned to ride in Europe and has been an eventer. As her hair started to show gray colors, she felt that Eventing became too dangerous and became a Dressage rider.
