I am skilled in helping clients with anxiety, grief and loss, social skills, stress, depression, and life transitions. Whether you are looking for short term or longer term counseling, I will help you achieve your desired outcomes. I work through a strength- based lens, and you will come to see yourself as I do: an individual with many options for change, self-discovery and hope as you take steps forward and activate your goals. My aim is to offer you ideas and help you develop successful skills in a warm, inviting, and safe space. Having Substance use and Psychoeducational Rehabilitation, Child Protection Services, Mitigation Services, Judicial Criminal and Family Court, School Social Work and Individual Counseling experience since 1996, I am familiar with the wide range of circumstances we face in life. I am a licensed mental health social worker and a registered yoga teacher actively teaching from a trauma-informed lens and focus. I would love to support you in your process of client-centered self-discovery, supported transformation, and functional regulation through modalities that are compassion-focused, culturally responsive/affirming, strength-based, and holistically integrative.
