Our practice offers individual, couples, family & group counseling. Our area of speciality, however, is working with school age children, young adults & their families who struggle with emotional, behavioral & mood issues such as ADD / ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Anger Management, Grief & Adjustments to life changes and stress. Growing up is a challenge for most, but for kids & young adults who deal with these issues, life may seem overwhelming specially those who are defiant, disrespectful, who feel entitled or are resistant to counseling. Our goal is to teach them the essential skills in coping, problem solving, communication, organization, studying, socializing, etc. View 9 Photos My experience with & dedication to treating ADHD, isn't just professional; it's personal: I have ADHD. Misdiagnosed & untreated until attending graduate school, I'm better able to understand the effect of symptoms from a variety of perspectives & apply that knowledge in my practice. See my website for my reviews. Clients feel that because I live with ADHD, have struggled with it, understand the thoughts & emotions associated with it & find new ways to manage & cope with it, it gives me an advantage in their treatment. They describe me as an effective, hardworking, caring, empathetic, accommodating, "think outside the box" therapist.
