Then add in predispositions to mental health issues, past trauma, intergenerational issues and it's no wonder we're struggling to cope with everything. It's hard to find a sense of peace and to feel confident to manage these stressors. I'm focused on what each individual needs - whether it is stress management skills, communication and conflict resolution with their partner, resolving past trauma - there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach with me. I'm trained in EMDR, marital/family therapy, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and attachment focused approaches. You have strengths that we can build on and if you aren't sure of what they are, we'll find them together. I want to help each person I work with to create a plan towards healing that is about them and their needs.
