I am accepting new clients in both Pennsylvania & Maine for telehealth only. I am a Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in working with adolescents and teens experiencing issues around life stage transitions, self-esteem, and family conflict. I also enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I have extensive experience working with clients around acute issues such as suicidality, self-harm, and trauma. My therapeutic focus is to use a trauma-informed psychotherapy approach and relational techniques to increase self-worth, decrease depression & anxiety, and tease out couple and family conflict. My training as a systemic therapist helps in particular with tracking relational patterns and dynamics and striving to understand each client within their larger context. My goal is to help my clients develop a better understanding of themselves so as to gain awareness about the path to increasing healthier relationships with others. My warm and direct approach helps clients to feel fully guided and supported, while also gaining confidence to step into the role as leader of one's own life. It is a joy and privilege for me to actively listen to my client's stories and be in the presence of them achieving their goals and, most importantly, feeling more authentic in their relationships!

So many of us are acutely aware of the troubles and difficulties we are facing locally and globally. Perhaps you are engaging in the work to bring significant change to your community or even to the larger world, whether socially, ecological, economic or any or all of the above. My work is to help you with the struggles we face as activists, concerned citizens and agents of change & how to "stay with the trouble" of being human in exceedingly difficult times. This is about harnessing the deep wisdom you already possess about who you are and what you need to bring your special and unique "medicine" to the healing to our world. I specialize in working with our growing despair/fear around climate change, racism and social inequality & the fragmented relationship to ourselves and to the more-than-human world. I draw on a range of approaches - ecopsychology, parts work, body-centered, spiritual & mindfulness. I belong to fast the growing Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. I love to help bring inspiration & a path forward to activists and those struggling with the current state of our world. Let's do this together. I have 35 years guiding people through my work as an entrepreneur, educator, meditation teacher, social & ecological activist and mentor. I am presently working mostly online with limited availability.

I currently offer therapy to clients in both Maine and Wisconsin. Many clients I work with carry tremendous stress and anxiety that is rooted in trauma. My clients often feel stuck and need to know what kind of work will create positive changes in their lives. They may need to learn new skills that will help them have more control over their own thoughts, feelings and behaviors. An ideal client is open to the healing process, is motivated to find new positive ways of thinking and is striving to make his or her reactions to their stresses more productive. I offer individual counseling sessions depending on their needs. I’m here to listen, work with you collaboratively, and teach you tools that will help you build confidence to grow and navigate the world in a way that feels right to you. In addition to mindfulness and stress management strategies, I have specialized training in trauma, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Sexual Assault and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I create individualized treatment plans to match the unique needs of my clients, with the goal of increasing feelings of safety. Mindful Growth is a judgment free zone where you can come be honest with both me and yourself so we can effectively move forward. I am accepting new clients- adolescents or adults, and would love to hear from you.

Let's work together to achieve what you really want in life! I am a Certified Relationship Coach and ADHD/Executive Function Coach. Coaching provides skills, structure and support in reaching personal goals. Unlike traditional therapy, the main focus of coaching is in the here and now: what behaviors would you like to change? Why is this change important to you? What steps can you take to move towards this goal? I specialize in working with individuals/couples seeking support in their relationships, and folks struggling with ADHD and executive function challenges. My role is to provide support in recognizing and cultivating strengths, and navigating challenges. I help to clarify what matters most, see what gets in the way, and identify action steps to take. It's important to find the right support for your unique needs. I would be happy to schedule time to speak with you and see if we are a good fit. To schedule an initial phone consultation, please reach out via email. You don't have to navigate this journey alone!
