Amy works with people of all ages who are seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, improving relationship/marital issues or simply feeling overwhelmed by the stressors faced in everyday life. Amy is a very goal oriented therapist. Amy tailors sessions to each individual with an eclectic approach deeply rooted in CBT. Amy works collaboratively with clients to acknowledge their personal strengths, enhance self-awareness, eliminate negative thought patterns and develop coping skills to combat life's challenges by turning them into opportunities of positive growth. Amy has worked as adjunct faculty in the graduate school of social work at a prominent research university. Academia provides Amy opportunites to explore groundbreaking assessment and intervention techniques to keep her practice techniques fresh and effective. Additionally, Amy spent nearly a decade and a half working in the public sector in Health & Human Services.
