Therapy is a process that works to resolve unhealthy or problematic thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, relational patterns, and/or emotions. It is a process that starts by gathering information and dives into understanding the different pieces of your story and how they work together. The pieces, or themes and events, of your story, the characters encountered, the obstacles faced, and the meaning(s) made from experiences play a role in how you understand self and self in relation to others. It's my privilege to come along side you on your journey and to help sort out those pieces. Through my education and experience, I provide an outside perspective to challenge, encourage, and help you grow into the most healthy and authentic version of you. I use a variety of therapy models to best fit the individual needs and goals. For clients who share a value on faith, I especially love integrating faith and spirituality into therapy sessions. I'd love to hear the pieces of your story and help you begin to process their meaning in your life. Taking time to work on yourself is one of the least selfish things that you can do as it helps you to create and be in healthier relationships with those around you.
