Most have a background in family dysfunction, emotional neglect/abuse, physical abuse, narcissism/gaslighting, religious trauma, sexual abuse/assault, emotionally immature caregiver(s), abandonment, household dysfunction, or any combination of things. They reach out to gain insight, support, and skills on navigating the healing process. I have 3 years of experience in mental health with a focus on trauma and LGBTQIA+ identities. I work with adolescents age 14 to adult. I work collaboratively with clients to build self-awareness and confidence to help connect them with their selves. I incorporate body-focused work, along with knowledge on trauma to create a mind-body connection. I work at your pace, as we move into deeper material like childhood experiences and psychodynamics. You have learned through your experiences many different ways of thinking, viewing, and coping, in order to survive. I believe humans have the capacity to grow and change. I am here to support that journey for you.
