Dani has been consulted on by Grandmother’s Council for Every Child Matters, She is an active American Indian Movement Activist, and founded Chaa'ishmal Foundation, which is a Native American Science, Religion, Education, and Native American Support Services platform which is focused on Harm Reduction to Indigenous People and Communities. Chaa'ishmal aims to increase and promote protective factors against the adverse conditions indigenous people face, and “To embrace Transformational Culture for Positive Change.” Dani is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker specializing in Trauma and Crises and studied the Neurobiology of Intergenerational and Multigenerational Trauma. As a former Professor at Salem Community College, Dani has taught at Cumberland County, Mt. Laurel, Wilmington University, and Stockton University: former classes include BioEthics, Humanities, BioPsychology, Trauma Informed Care, and Case Management, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Problems in Contemporary Society, and Social Work and Psychology Courses. Dani is a Speaker on Truth, Healing, and Reconciliations by and for Indigenous People, is also a certified Community Support Services Supervisor, who formerly worked in Early Intervention Support Services in the At-Risk Adult and Child Mental Health domains.
