Do you feel as if your emotions rule your life? That others don't understand you? The Behavioral Therapy Collective was created in order to offer compassionate, thoughtful, ethical and effective care to you or your loved ones. We work with high school aged adolescent, adults and families. All members of our team have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which is the evidence based treatment used to treat complex emotions. People who struggle with anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm behavior, depression, symptoms of borderline personality disorder benefit from DBT. In addition to DBT I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, through the use of CBT and ACT which are all evidence based treatments to help treat and manage anxiety. We run groups each week to help feel more in control of these emotions and decrease behaviors that may cause problems in your life. I was intensively trained in DBT at Columbia School of Social Work, which is the only DBT training program for social workers in the country. The program was created in collaboration with Marsha Linehan, the creator of DBT, and directed by Andre Ivanoff.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, and have 10+ years of experience and post-graduate training in a number of evidence-based treatments, specifically DBT, Prolonged Exposure for trauma, CBT, and ACT. Our practice also provides a comprehensive DBT program that serves adolescents, families, and individual adults. We are extremely passionate about providing ethical, supportive, and competent care, and will work collaboratively with you to create and implement and individualized treatment plan that helps you achieve your goals. I am licensed in NJ and NY, and a registered Telehealth provider in FL and SC. We are all DBT intensively trained clinicians through Behavioral Tech. We specialize in working with mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and eating disorders. In 2024, we will also be offering Equine Therapy services. We are one of the few comprehensive DBT programs in New Jersey, and strive to provide evidence-based treatment that makes a genuine difference. Imagine your life as a bookshelf: It may feel like the “TRAUMA” book is the only one on your shelf. It’s big and heavy and it hurts to think about opening it. In our work together you will learn how to build a library full of rich life experiences around what you’ve already survived. You won’t have to numb the pain. You won’t have to minimize what you feel to make others comfortable. You will get to process your traumas and feel present for the first time in a long time, or maybe in your life. View 8 Photos I'm really good at helping people in their 20’s to 40’s navigate grief, trauma, and the big life changes that come with being this age. If you’re struggling to enjoy this season of your life, or have been feeling an urge to shake things up and get your act together, I’m here to help. My hope for our work together is that you will learn how to be your own leader. I will help you befriend all parts of yourself- yes, even the parts that make you feel cringy. It feels good to get to a place where you no longer need outside validation. Please reach out if you’re interested in learning more.
