Whether you are overwhelmed by life, feeling stuck, or hoping to optimize well-being, I am so excited that you are taking the step to heal. I believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy, and look forward to beginning this unique, challenging, and beautiful journey with you. My background as a collegiate athlete gives me specific interest in working with athletes, though I work with individuals of all walks of life. Many clients I see have experienced anxiety, depression, and/or trauma, all of which can feel daunting. I admire your courage in seeking support. We are not intended to "go it alone." My approach to counseling is relational and person-centered (you are not the problem... the problem is the problem!). Together, we will explore your experience with compassion and non-judgement, identify your values and goals, increase self-awareness, and grow in and toward connection. You are worthy of a life that is "workable" and aligned with your values. If you are unsure about counseling, I also offer coaching– a “proactive” approach to mental health focused on self-reflection, education and accountability. Coaching sessions can be in-person and combined with physical exercise. If you are interested in either of these options, please feel free to email or call. I would love to support you however I can.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy." - Brene Brown I help teens, adults, and couples process the difficulties that brought them to counseling. Where they find themselves now, and where they want to be in the future. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space for people to feel "uncomfortable". I admire my clients' bravery for signing up to feel this way for the end goal of getting the most out of their lives. It means a lot to share that I have felt many of the feelings you might be feeling now. I embrace my life journey because I believe it has given me perspectives which make me a more compassionate therapist. Whether it is difficulties in your marriage, figuring out what your life's desires are, or managing mental health, I am honored to be your therapist.

Healing of any kind involves understanding and repairing the connections that keep us together, and healing always involves finding solutions! Sometimes, it is difficult to find the available solutions or to fix the broken connections. You would do anything for your family - you have given your all - but you are giving up. I believe that the task of therapy is to accompany individuals, and families until they feel woven together - stronger than when they began, more self-aware than at the start, and ready to contribute positively to their community. I provide interventions rooted in research and designed to heal the connections between individuals and within families. I am ready to help. Picture what life would look like if solutions were in reach, if you were more connected to those who mattered to you, and if you felt equipped to contribute positively to your family. That is where I am prepared to accompany you. I specialize in working with couples and relationships that are trying to overcome infidelity in their relationship. I also work with children, adolescents, adults and families and address a wide range of concerns - I look forward to partnering with you.
