Do the relationships in your life feel stressful? Do you experience worry, anxiety, or feel hopeless that things will never change? You are not broken. You can heal. I partner with my clients as they learn how to love and trust themselves. Together, we can explore ways to help you feel peace in your relationships. By reprocessing difficult trauma memories with EMDR, you can lower the reactiveness in your brain and body. We will identify tools that empower you to make changes in your life. If you are ready to feel better, reach out for a consultation. View 6 Photos I approach mental health in a very holistic way- paying close attention to the connection between the brain and the body. Our bodily reactions have so much information to share if we pay attention. EMDR is a great tool to access the part of our brain where trauma memory is stored. We can clear out that trauma to allow you to experience more peace. I believe that you can feel less anxiety and a higher sense of purpose in your everyday life because I have had the privilege of bearing witness to the raw beauty of my clients' transformation. I count it an honor to be a therapist. Going to therapy is brave and requires energy. "Vulnerability is the most accurate measure of courage." - Brene Brown

If you are hoping to rediscover joy, overcome anxiety, or work through a relationship that feels really hard, I can help. My years of experience have shown me first hand that many of us are in desperate need of a safe space to feel seen, heard, and understood. I utilize a trauma informed approach, including EMDR. I do not believe that one therapy approach is the best for everyone. I will work with you to navigate your unique therapy journey. Together, we will identify the resources that you already have within you to build support. We’ll also gather some new tools that you can put to use in your everyday scenarios. I include body movement and breathing exercises into sessions as needed, because I have seen how important the mind-body connection is in the trauma healing process. I believe all humans hold immeasurable worth, and practice from a queer affirming, anti-racist and feminist perspective! I will provide a safe and non judgmental space for you to process. I am passionate about providing people with the space and time they need to navigate the many challenges that adolescence and young adulthood bring. I enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with questions of gender identity and sexual orientation, religious deconstruction, and self-confidence. I am trained in EMDR trauma therapy through EMDRIA.
