I am a clinical psychologist in San Juan, Puerto Rico and offer bilingual psychotherapy for adolescents, couples, and adults. Although I am certified as a cognitive behavioral therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, I also incorporate other treatment methodologies to best meet my client's needs. I offer parenting seminars to corporations and schools on topics such as work/family balance, self esteem, communication, discipline, technology management, mindful parenting. Lastly, I offer forensic services focus on civil and criminal cases (state and federal) including issues such as competency, psychological damages, and criminal responsibility evaluations. For the past 19 years I have worked with clients to address issues of depression, anxiety, problematic relationships, grief, infidelity, trauma, anger management, parenting difficulties, eating disorders, among others. My goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship that will focus on significantly improving my client's quality of life. Psychotherapy can be a useful tool to achieve and maintain emotional stability. It can also provide healthy alternatives on how to cope and interact with the world which can move you towards greater well-being.
