Erik graduated from Texas Tech University in 2014 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Erik soon after became a paramedic to begin helping people in a new way. While working as a paramedic Erik began to pursue his goal of becoming a counselor in 2021 and graduated in 2023. Erik believes he can help and heal people in a different way especially clients suffering from trauma related challenges. Erik enjoys not only working with trauma clients, but individuals of all ages from children to adults, and couples as they are the foundation of the family. In Erik's free time he enjoys traveling with is wife and their three dogs. As well as cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. I am also a brainspotter which is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional and physical pain, and unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with PTSD. It also helps with anxiety, specific phobias, depression, anger issues, sports performance issues, chronic pain, grief, and stress just to name a few.
