Life can be hard and at some point we might need some support, change can be stressful and overwhelming, and healing can be quite the journey but it is worth it. I hope to be a part of your journey by collaborating with you on your goals. View 4 Photos Since 2017 I have had the privilege of being active in the social work field. In the spring I was able to graduate with my master's in social work. During this time I was in school and public mental health settings. Prior to my return to school I was in inpatient and outpatient settings. As you search for help I would like to acknowledge that it can be hard and you might be filled with so many emotions. I hope you know that seeking and accepting help is very courageous!

I have a compassionate heart and truly desire to do what I can to help others find happiness and contentment in their lives. I am currently working as a student counselor under the direct supervision of Tyler Patrick and the University of the Cumberlands where I am finishing up a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While I am a new counselor, I am not new to the process of sexual addiction recovery, and betrayal trauma. I chose this area of expertise because I believe lives broken by addiction can be rebuilt as we discover personal strengths and build on them. It takes courage to ask for help in times of distress. When we need support, receiving professional, compassionate counseling services is most beneficial in order to improve our functioning, insight, and life satisfaction. Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling is a systematic process which assists persons with physical, mental, developmental, cognitive, and emotional disabilities to achieve their personal, career, and independent living goals. My services focus on evidence-based counseling for adolescents and adults experiencing psychosocial and psychological issues related to chronic illness and disability. Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling services utilize a range of treatment approaches in helping persons with disabilities adjust to their disability while maximizing functioning. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered counseling, Motivational Interviewing (MI), psychosocial interventions, and psychoeducation are some of the techniques employed. As a person with a disability, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and educator, my goal is to provide a warm, accepting environment in order to help people grow and develop.
