As a transpersonal therapist and coach, the bulk of my work is holistic in nature. This means that we are working with your whole being (light and shadow, seen and unseen, conscious and unconscious, mind and soul) with the intention of healing old wounds and patterns—personally, ancestrally, collectively. We are living in a time of great change, challenge, and promise. It is my belief that you were born here and now for a reason. Many of my clients are those called to participate in creating positive, life-affirming changes to this planet—and whatever your unique path may be, I am here to support you. This world needs your light! At my core, I believe in the human capacity for growth, change and transformation. Doing deep personal work (be it through therapy, coaching, or hypnotherapy) is a journey of recovery and discovery. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide a safe container for you to explore what is possible in your own healing journey.

I work with men and women who are struggling with symptoms of depression and/ or anxiety, issues of grief and loss, compulsive eating, relationship/family and family-of-origin issues, as well as life-phase-transition issues. I am particularly attuned to how early life attachment relationships impact clients' interpersonal functioning as adults. Other special interest areas include working with clients with adrenal fatigue, individuals/ couples struggling with issues as related to fertility challenges and working with/ diagnosing clients with ADHD. I am qualified and licensed to conduct ADD/ADHD assessments and to assign a diagnosis accordingly. I have ten years of experience leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills groups. I use DBT to help clients improve their ability to regulate their emotions so as to better manage symptoms of depression, anxiety and general mood volatility. CBT and Mindfulness skills are other therapeutic modalities I regularly use. I have a great deal of interest in the information that is coming out of the "neuroscience revolution" that is underway. I use this information to help clients understand what THEY can do to develop new neural pathways that will help them think and act in new and healthier ways.

Every person is unique and amazing in their own way. We come together to share your deepest self and at times there can seem to be few words to connect. We are accustomed to putting on our armor, presenting our inauthentic self and carrying this self into our relationships. We have a loud, blaming inner voice that we listen to and allow to minimize our wholeness. But each of us has the innate ability to heal ourselves. I practice Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral and Internal Family Systems Therapy and Psychedelic Support. I will introduce what is key features in these paridigms until we find what resonates with you. You showing up in a therapeutic milieu is an exciting step. We will work for you to feel better from our first session together. Being heard in a safe, nonjudgmental space gives you a stable platform for guided healing. My voice is warm and direct. I have 30 years experience of walking through our shadowselves. Selves we should meet with love, humor and grace. I honor all identities.

Life can throw numerous curve balls, and sometimes we need to expand our support system to persevere and carry on. Reaching out to meet with a counselor is not a sign of weakness, but rather shows bravery and a willingness for growth and change. When an individual makes the decision to enter counseling, it can be an intimidating choice during an already difficult time. It’s not always easy to be open and vulnerable with a counselor. I recognize the courage it takes and approach the therapist-client relationship as a collaborative experience throughout the process. We will work together as a team. I have experience providing therapy for client's with a wide variety of presenting concerns. Some of these concerns include depression, anxiety, self-image, stress, grief/ loss, substance abuse, trauma, personal growth, life transitions, difficult childhood and family experiences, relationship concerns, anger, and codependency. As we work to uncover and process your complex thoughts and feelings, I will always maintain focus in supporting you find a greater sense of peace, self-awareness, and hope. You can expect to meet in a supportive environment that maintains the highest level of respect for your therapy work.
