My couples appts are currently full and I do not keep a waiting list - I will update this information when couples appts become available. There are times in life when the coping skills that we have are no longer effective and the things that you thought that you moved past are somehow staring you in the face. I provide a comfortable atmosphere to discover skills to tackle old and new "things". I enjoy working with adults and couples. My area of interests include anxiety, depression, marital concerns, PTSD, and trauma. I incorporate CBT, DBT, EMDR, and AEDP into my practice. When working with couples I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman curriculum. My goal is to partner with clients to explore the skills they desire to focus on in their broad situations and life experiences. I believe that therapy is a unique partnership between the client and therapist. I am open to exploring a partnership that will yield your desired outcomes. You are welcome to schedule a phone consultation to decide if I would be a good partner in your wellness journey. I provide in-person and teletherapy services. I offer outdoor based therapy interventions where we will often meet at public park settings. I have found that Ecotherapy can be a successful technique for individuals who struggle with life transitions, self esteem, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The activities can vary depending on the season and person. Some examples are: forest bathing, fishing, folfing, snowshoeing, forest foraging, swimming, rafting, skiing etc. Ecotherapy is an alternative approach which may be useful to you if you struggled with traditional in-office therapies. Ecotherapy is an alternative approach that combines the inherit benefits of being in nature with psychotherapy. Nature has been proven to benefit our physical and mental health in a variety of ways and I wish to capitalize that benefit to help you with your personal struggles. Mental health struggles are often complex and deeply entrenched in our lives. They can take time to understand and work through. Sometimes we need an alternative type of therapy to work through these struggles. I aim to provide that service to you if you are seeking therapy for the first time or have worked with other therapists.

Raising healthy and happy children with ADHD can be a big job, but the good news is that you do not have to do it alone. There is a lot that can be done to help! ADHD is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that impacts each child differently. ADHD has little to do with how "smart" your child might be, but it has a lot to do with your child's ability to regulate their attention, mood, and behaviors. When symptoms of ADHD lead to lower self-esteem, mental health concerns, behavioral challenges, or academic struggles, it is a good time to seek professional help. I am an Art Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Professional with a passion for helping children with ADHD reach their fullest potential. I offer child-based services that focus on building self-esteem, teaching skills, and re-igniting a passion for learning. I also offer parent-based services that offer guidance, education, support, and training. Children with ADHD can have an excellent quality of life, but they often need extra support along the way. If you are looking for fun, compassionate, and effective strategies to help your child and your family, please give me a call. Our services can be used as the first line of treatment for ADHD or in partnership with your child's medication.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over ten years of clinical experience. I completed my graduate degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University in Santa Barbara. I specialize in women's issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is client-centered and individualized to meet each client's personal needs and goals. I practice from a strength-based, trauma-informed approach using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and mindfulness-based practices. I feel that therapy is not a one size fits all approach and my goal is to work collaboratively with clients on issues that are holding them back from having the life they want to be living. I use my experience to serve as a guide, working alongside each client at their pace and level of comfort. My goal is for clients to leave the session with a sense that they found a safe space in which they can grow into their ideal authentic selves. I assist clients in setting goals, developing coping strategies, and gaining self-awareness while building their confidence to make lasting changes in their lives.
