Hi! I am Estel, LMFT. My practice is in La Canada Flintridge, CA (close neighborhoods are Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Highland Park, etc.). I see clients in-person and virtually. As a certified Restoration Therapist, my mission is to restore relationships within couples and families so they may heal and reclaim their truth. I am passionate about exploring the impact of clients' attachment styles on their sense of self and others, facilitating insight around barriers, and promoting healthy coping skills. In addition to providing therapeutic services in Korean, I offer short-term intensive therapy. I am certified as a Level 2 Restoration Therapist and have received training in family therapy, couple’s therapy, parent and child dynamics, and trauma-informed treatment. I commend you for taking the first steps towards healing. It would be my privilege to assist you in your journey.

As a queer-identified therapist, I am passionate about providing care to individuals who are questioning or identify on the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum. I have experience working with adolescents and adults with autism, anxiety, relationship issues, and self-esteem issues. I am interested in working with those experiencing attachment issues or life transitions. I am also interested in working with trauma survivors, as well as those in veterinary or human healthcare roles who may experience secondary or vicarious trauma. I also have particular interest in adoption competence and working with adoption, foster, and divorce situations with Trust-based Relational Intervention.

I am currently the Program Director and Family Support Therapist for the Early Psychosis Intervention Care team at Wyandot Center. Our program serves young adults and teenagers who are experiencing psychosis for the first time. I enjoy supporting our clients and families in their journey to recovery and wellness, as well as building up our program to be able to serve more people with excellence. My previous work as a therapist in private practice gave me the opportunity to work with clients experiencing a broad array of concerns such as trauma, depression and anxiety.
