Healing and wellness are my mission and passion. I believe healing and growth are essential to living the life you were born for. I believe that healed people heal people, one person, one step at a time, always forward. I heard a person say “Peace doesn’t mean that you will not have problems. Peace means that your problems will not have you.” The more healed you are, the more you can walk in your purpose and peace. I look forward to going on this healing and growth journey with you. Join me at the Healing Tree, where the seeds of healing grow. Wellness is available for you to live your life in wholeness.

Hi! I am a LPC with 7.5 years of clinical experience. I own No Worries Wellness, and I specialize in helping young adult women (17-35) navigate anxiety and self-worth. I provide exclusively online counseling and work with individuals aged 6 and up, as well as couples. I work with clients seeking support with trauma, chronic illness, disabilities, grief/loss, assertiveness/boundaries, self-esteem, anger, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, communication, relationship issues, and ADD/ADHD. While I believe treatment should be individualized to each client, I tailor my counseling approach from a foundation of person-centered therapy and use a strengths-based focus. I also incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when needed. I do not pathologize my clients but acknowledge the difficulties and challenges they have faced and what role those experiences play in a client's presenting symptoms. Our emotions act as a way of letting us know something inside of us needs our attention. What some may identify as an "abnormal" reaction is often actually a normal reaction to an abnormal experience where a client was trying to survive. I focus on a client's internal strengths and resourcefulness rather than on perceived weaknesses, failures, or shortcomings. If unhelpful ways of thinking are identified, and clients would like to change those thinking patterns, I am here to assist them in challenging those. This includes trying to understand the motivation behind a client's behaviors and developing a greater sense of confidence in their own abilities to create change. I believe my clients are the experts on themselves and my role is to provide a nonjudgmental and empathetic environment for clients to work through their struggles and reach their full potential. My passion is to help people who feel unheard, unseen, or left behind discover their voice, worth, and strengths; empowering them to continue forward in their own unique ways. Creating a therapeutic relationship that is safe, trustworthy, respectful, and collaborative is a solid foundation for successful therapy.

"Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise so I am changing myself." This quote by Rumi sums up my approach to therapy. I provide compassionate and honest therapy for adults who want to understand how your past impacts, change habits and perspectives that have been holding you back, and create healthy relationships with yourself and others to have a fulfilling and whole life. We all experience traumas and difficulties on a daily basis. Most of the time we can cope just fine; however sometimes life overwhelms us and leaves us stuck. That’s where I come in! I hold the space and time sacred for you to share about the negatives and celebrate the positives. Therapy is a relationship. We will use curiosity, mindfulness, and grounding techniques to explore new perspectives, identify your strengths, and develop skills to move you forward. What happens to you does not define you! You are the author of your story and you decide what the book looks like. Events and experiences can be your entire story, or they could be just a chapter, or a single sentence. I want you to own your strengths and acknowledge your own control. I will work beside you to explore your parts and integrate them into a unique and powerful whole.
