What is in the way of “living your best life”? Navigating changes in life, trying to manage anxiety, relationships, establishing boundaries & finding out who you want to be in this world, can be exhausting. Being in a place in which you want support to see changes in how you show up, cope and adjust to struggles in life, shows strength. At AYC healing center, we are a black female owned private practice, and we work in therapy to support black millennial women with better managing anxiety, low self esteem, relationships & life transitions. We provide a space for you to have a voice and to develop greater confidence in yourself
We work with young black women and young women of color (BIPOC) age 18-30 experiencing anxiety, relationship struggles, racial identity/trauma, struggles with adjustment from youth to adulthood & other difficult life transitions. We also work w/ many college students to explore the many difficulties this transitional time could bring in one's life
We believe therapy is a team approach & look forward to supporting you on the journey towards learning to put yourself first, having healthier boundaries, greater experiences & healthier relationships in your life. We will work together to support you with developing healthy and effective coping strategies to overcome and better adjust to challenges in life
