Recent Updates From Alison Bellows
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
We face many challenges in life that test us, strengthen us, and change us as individuals. Sometimes navigating these challenges requires additional support. Reaching out to seek counseling can elicit an array of emotions. You might feel overwhelmed, scared, anxious, empowered, or curious. Know that wherever you are in the process, I will be here to support you in the joy, the sorrow, and all the emotions in between. I specialize working with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, and perfectionism.
I use an integrative approach to counseling taking into account the emotional, physical, and bio/psycho/social factors of an individual. Just like every individual and situation is unique, I believe there is no one size fits all approach to counseling. My practice is grounded in evidenced based theory while also taking into account the unique individual.
I strive to create a trusting and empathetic relationship with my clients. I want to understand my client as a whole person and not just address a symptom or problem. My goal in counseling is to develop an authentic relationship with you so that in collaboration we can fulfill your goals. (I Offer Virtual Therapy Sessions Only)
