Recent Updates From Amanda Dempsey
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is truly passionate about walking people through difficult times throughout their lives and to help them to find hope. I strive to make sure each client feels heard and understood and take the time to develop individual relationships with each of my clients. Making the initial phone call can often be the hardest part of therapy. Making this call requires courage and strength which should not be overlooked. My goal during our first phone call is to establish hope and a connection that will carry into us working together.
I obtained my Master of Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, communication issues, life-stage transitions, and divorce. My specializations include teens, families, couples, self worth and life-stage transitions.
