When challenged with keeping up with it all, it is not uncommon to lose sight of who we really are, or what we really want. Through a collaborative and engaging therapeutic relationship where your unique interests are prioritized, perspective & balance can be restored. My niche is working with college students and young professionals, who are motivated to get the most out of life by discovering their authentic selves, defining a road map for future, and developing skills to cope with stress & adversity. Although my work is grounded in evidence-based practices, I have been told that sessions feel like talking to a wise friend.
Respecting where you are today, I aim to listen attentively to what is working for you and where you feel there is room for growth, and assist you in taking steps to meet your desired goals. You will find sessions introduce practical strategies and skills in a relaxed versus formal manner, with the hope you will take away something useful from each meeting.
I provide traditional psychotherapy as well as outdoor walking sessions for those seeking an active approach to mental health care. I also provide timely consultations (scheduled within one week) for those needing support with a specific, time sensitive issue (not a crisis, rather an important decision/dilemma etc.). I look forward to talking with you soon.
