Amber utilizes a person-centered, humanistic, strengths-based approach to help each client achieve their identified goals in therapy. Amber’s overall goal is to foster a safe place where the clinician and the client collaboratively create a trusting therapeutic relationship where tough topics can be processed. She can practice all three clinical modalities, or a combination, during treatment depending on clients preferences.
Amber is dedicated to empowering people in reaching their fullest potential and improving their overall quality of life. She has the most training and expertise in art therapy, children and adolescents, and she is passionate about supporting and advocating for LGBTQIA+ folks' unique needs and rights.
Amber is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). She can use this certification in a therapeutic setting by offering accessible, body positive, adaptive yoga movement practice, mindfulness, meditation, breathing techniques, and yogic philosophy supported by modern research to aid in healthy emotional processing.
