Recent Updates From Arlene Goldman
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

I help individuals and couples resolve their sexual and relationship issues and enhance their lives. I've been a psychologist and sex therapist for over 30 years, my approach begins with a comprehensive evaluation to determine the cause(s) contributing to your difficulties. Then you and I create a plan that is tailored to helping you, decrease anxiety, resolve blocks, learn communication and coping skills and achieve relationship and sexual satisfaction. My approach draws from my training in sex therapy, family systems, psychodynamic and cognitive therapies as well as hypnosis and EMDR.

While the therapy hour is important, a major component of change occurs during the other 167 hours of the week. So I work with you to tailor homework and homeplay that will augment the therapy hour and help you make progress on your own.
I am co-author of Secrets of Sexual Ecstasy, in the Psychology Today: Here to Help book series. I have served on the faculty of Jefferson Medical College where I coordinated the Sexual Function Center for ten years, a facility that specialized in the evaluation and treatment of sexual dysfunctions.
