Profile

I have over 13 years' experience in counseling, serving as a school counselor, substance abuse counselor, and non-profit director. My background has given me the knowledge to help those who have experienced trauma or rejection turn their pain into purpose. I work from a collaborative, holistic, and strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives.
I have a passion for advocating for the underdogs, the disenfranchised, the misfits, and the weirdos. I've developed a niche in serving youth in foster care as well as working with teens and adults to plan for their next phase of life; to confidently arrive as their most authentic self. I also volunteer as a CAJA (Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate).
Although I've just recently began my journey as an ALC, I have extensive experience in helping those I've served in other counseling capacities. I'm fortunate to work with an amazing and diverse team and learn under my phenomenal supervisor. I truly believe that our best teachers are the clients we serve, and I'm very motivated to learn as much as possible!
