Having gone through a tragic life-changing experience at a young age, I know what it’s like to feel lost or hopeless about the future. After sustaining a spinal cord injury leaving me paralyzed and wheelchair bound at age 15, my life was turned upside. Following my accident, I experienced first-hand the true power of focusing on what I have, not what I lost. I looked for solutions rather than focusing on my problems to conquer my daily challenges. This is where I realized the importance of working with teens and the impact I was having on them. My love for gaming and sports has helped me connect with teens and create a safe therapeutic space
