Profile

My name is Brian Robertson, but most people just call me Rob. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has experience as an EMDR therapist specializing in treating trauma, dissociative disorders, and borderline personality disorder. I also have experience in treating victims of sex trafficking, military combat trauma, and victims of ritual abuse and programming (cults). I am also a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, as well as a member of the ISSTD Special Interest Group for Organized and Extreme Abuse.
I believe in the use of compassion, understanding, and evidence-based practices to help my patients achieve their goals. As people, we are not defined by our experiences, nor are we a result of that. Because of that, I like to use a scientific, but also holistic and person-centered approach.
I like to work with my patients as a team and I value being part of the journey in seeing them become the person that they want to be. Through the strength of empowerment, we can work together to help you become the person that you want to be. Reach out to me today so that we can start your journey towards mental and emotional wellness.
