Recent Updates From Brittany Dunlap
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I draw upon multiple approaches including individual therapy, play therapy, and expressive arts, using a holistic lens. I believe in your inner strength, unique perspective, and voice. Whether you are in transition, wading through grief, struggling with identity and your outlook on life, trying to build better interpersonal relationships, or coping with traumatic events or memories; I meet you where you are and work with you in a gentle and collaborative way. I find that clients often begin to heal when they have a safe place to be seen and heard, and to better connect with themselves.
I work with a variety of issues across the lifespan. I am trained in and practice EMDR, a structured approach to resolving distress associated with difficult memories. With children I use play therapy, a developmentally appropriate avenue to process and express their inner world and build emotional resilience. I often use art, mindfulness, and movement.
You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burned out, even if not in crisis. Life can bring many challenges and I offer a safe place to witness, reflect, and empower you in your path of finding peace, resilience, and wellbeing.
