Recent Updates From Brooke Howell
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Colorado. I specialize in treating eating disorders, disordered eating, and challenges with body image. I also work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I provide an environment in which clients feel safe and empowered to embark on their therapeutic journey. I believe it is important to start where the client is to facilitate lasting change. Therapy is a process to explore underlying meaning, behavioral patterns, and relationship dynamics in order to identify your most authentic and genuine self.
I use several clinical approaches to meet the specific needs of each client. I integrate relational and psychodynamic approaches, along with other therapeutic modalities. I believe it is important to challenge diet culture influences and promote self-acceptance of every body type.
I strive to build a collaborative relationship with my clients and provide them with a sense of hope. I understand the process of eating disorder recovery is not linear and can be challenging. However, early intervention and treatment can provide a context and framework for individuals to fully recover.
