Recent Updates From Candice Holloway
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
If you've been struggling to cope with trauma or issues around sex, sexuality, or gender identity, I'm here to help. Isolation, anxiety, depression, distrust, and boundary issues are all normal reactions to trauma and stress, but they don't have to be permanent. Whether you're questioning your identities, considering about coming out, learning about oppression and liberation, or dealing with the emotional fallout of trauma, you don't have to do it alone.
In therapy, we can explore identity and relationship issues, practice effective coping skills, or examine the oppressive systems at the root of inequality, it's up to you and what you're needing! My ultimate goal is to support you in finding stability, joy, and self-acceptance.
There's no such thing as TMI in therapy: we can talk about sex, dating, abuse, religion, money, family, and other "shameful" topics without judgment. We can cuss, cry, laugh, share memes, and make darkly inappropriate jokes about mental health. Therapy requires honesty and cutting through the bs; we find healing via authentic connection with others.
