Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
Maybe you’re saying, “I can’t do this anymore!” And you mean it. Can’t pretend life is okay. Can’t sleep at night. Can’t fight that awful feeling. Whatever you’re facing, I want you to have a plan for how you will get through this season and move forward. I provide a safe place for your story to be heard and understood, so you can gain perspective and learn from it. As with woodworking or planting a garden, the choice to engage in counseling stirs up dust and dirt. But it’s for the sake of creating a life that is meaningful and fruitful. Often, it’s not easy, but it is rewarding. And you don’t have to struggle alone.
I specialize in getting to root issues in relationships and pointing people back toward each other in communication and connection. My training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (Core Skills) for couples. I’m also certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Critical Incident Debriefing, and Intensive Training for Counselors with Drs. Cloud and Townsend.
Once upon a time, I studied theatre in college and worked as an actor, so I know what it’s like pretending to be someone you’re not. I also worked as a builder and millworker to produce high-end custom furniture and cabinets, so I know the joy of making something real you can be proud of. If you’re ready to create real change in your life, I’m here to help.
