Hugh has over 10 years of experience working with LGBT, gender expansive and HIV impacted adolescents and adults in individual, relationship, family and group therapy. He specializes in helping people move out of stuck places, healing trauma and loss, and changing destructive behavior patterns in an empathic, relational and strengths-based context. He values the uniqueness of each person and tailors the therapy to the specific needs and preferences of the individual in an environment that is direct and transparent, yet gentle and supportive.
