I am a Doctor of Education (EdD) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York & Maryland. I understand the value of a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore and resolve challenges that are roadblocks to being their best self. I work with individuals, couples and families from a strength-based approach to pursue healthy choices and healing connections. I support clients in defining personal goals, enhancing coping skills, defining methods for self-care, and repairing interpersonal connections.

I am an alumni of the NYC CUNY System having graduated Cum Laude from Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts, and from Hunter College with a Masters in Social Work (MSW). Graduated from Concordia University Chicago with a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D)

I hold NYS certification as a School Social Worker and School District Leader. I recently served as Director of Social Work Programs with the NYC Department of Education. I am an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Child Study Infant and Toddler Special Education program at St. Joseph’s University where I have taught for more than eight years.
