Recent Updates From Chris Hunter
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I work with adults seeking to optimize intimate relationships and embrace the vitality that comes when we express our full sexual selves. I believe in the healing power of authenticity, secure connection, and self-acceptance. My passion and focus is working with clients to strengthen emotional and physical intimacy and healthy engagement by improving communication, building or rebuilding trust, releasing shame, and embracing self-acceptance. I have experience working with neurodiverse clients as well as clients struggling with anxiety and depression. I am sex-positive, kink-, queer-, trans-, and consensual non-monogamy-friendly.
I cover a breadth of topics related to human sexuality, particularly how each client’s connection with their own sexuality plays out in various facets of life. I've spent more than a decade studying human sexuality and I work with gender, sexuality, and relationship diverse clients.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, trauma, mindfulness, and substance use recovery. My primary aim is to serve as a catalyst and champion for your self-discovery and comprehensive well-being by providing a safe, non-judgmental, affirming environment that promotes healing, positive growth, and letting go of old patterns that no longer serve.
