My work as a therapist centers on relationships and the science of attachment. I work to help couples slow down, and start speaking from a heart space so that you can strengthen your relationship from a place of emotional safety and security. I work with individuals who are working through relational issues, and want to understand or change old patterns that aren't serving you now. I work with adults who deal with anxiety, and there's plenty to be anxious about in the modern world! I focus on helping you develop skills to regulate when anxiety feels overwhelming, and on parsing out what's in or out of our control.
I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship issues, and couples. My style is psychodynamic, relational, and somatically rooted using both body and cognitions to generate healing. Some of my favorite modalities and theories include ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), attachment theory, and mindfulness.
Like recovery, the therapy process is nonlinear, and the road can feel hard before it starts to even out. I am honored to sit with my clients in the uncertainty and hold space for this, until the light begins to show through. If you're feeling overwhelmed, you're not alone.
