My expertise lies in counseling my patients to master their anxieties, depression, relationship, and vocational struggles. In addition to being a licensed social worker, and psychotherapist on staff at my post-graduate institute for psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I have extensive experience in both the business and fashion worlds and can readily appreciate the difficulties engendered by high-pressure careers. Having worked in competitive environments, I am exquisitely attuned to the many self-esteem vulnerabilities that can inhibit people from achieving their goals.
With a warm, advocacy, individualizing and collaborative approach I am professionally gratified to work through roadblocks and encourage unique strengths and talents. Further clinical interests include emerging adulthood, parenting issues, career transitions, eating disorders, focusing problems, and obsessive compulsive personalities.
I am a member of the National Association for Social Workers, The American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work, The New York State Society for Clinical Social Work and my Institutes Psychoanalytic Society.
