I am a licensed clinical social worker and somatic practitioner with a passion for nature-based services, spiritual practices, and expressive arts. People are free to discover and share their life experiences in a safe and honoring environment. Sharing one's pain and experiences can be hard, and I strive to be a compassionate, warm and understanding listener. Each person's life story is sacred, and there are a myriad of gifts waiting to be discovered and embraced. Much of my work is with Highly Sensitive People and empathic intuitives.

Part of what makes my approach unique is that I specialize in somatic practices and nature-based therapy (ecotherapy). This type of therapy involves sessions that are outside and may include walking, hiking, and other activities. Ecotherapy sessions take place at my office at Wilder-Nest Retreats located in the foothills west of Fort Collins near Masonville.
As a somatic practitioner, I believe that trauma is experienced and stored in the body. The mind tends to shut down trauma experiences without allowing full sequencing of the trauma. Using a variety of techniques, I assist people in re-establishing a sense of safety and allowing trauma to be released.
