I've been a licensed psychologist for over 28 years. I assist children and teenagers, adults, couples and families. Prior to private practice, I obtained extensive inpatient experience in a psychiatric prison, an inpatient adolescent facility and the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center .
I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology focused on Psychotherapy from Georgia State University. My residency was at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, where I also completed a Fellowship in Pain Management in the Anesthesiology Department. My Masters degree in Clinical Community/Community Psychology is from Chapman University.
I treat people with warmth and caring while making your sessions challenging. I am both a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Sessions should go beyond just talk therapy.
