We are often told when we have chronic pelvic pain that it is “all in our head”, “there is not much we can do”, “it's just something that women go through”, and the frustrating list of responses go on. As women, our health conditions and experiences are often invalidated, and we are made to feel as if it’s inevitable. On top of that, for those of us who receive and interpret/communicate information differently, it can be more challenging to have our voices heard.
I am here to validate that your pain is real, and I can help you learn about the incredible mind-body connection. Whether you're experiencing anxiety or depression from chronic pelvic/sexual pain, trauma, or other life stressors, I'm here to help normalize your experiences and provide evidence based strategies to help you achieve your goals.
Our first meeting will be a comprehensive consultation to assess your needs and goals so I can hand tailor a treatment plan that we can work on together. I am committed to collaborating with your other health providers so you have an entire support system surrounding you. I am also happy to discuss any accommodations you might need in our session.
