Recent Updates From Elizabeth Sánchez
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
It can be challenging to process painful memories/emotions in therapy. I aim to create a safe space for everyone to feel comfortable being themselves. I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in different settings like schools, community clinics, hospitals, etc. I seek to reduce the stigma placed on mental health, the geek/nerd community, ethnic minorities, and everyone who is often viewed as ‘other.’

Whether you consider yourself a nerd, a geek, a minority, a collector, an immigrant, etc., your culture is important. Integrating elements of what you love can help you better understand your situation, relate it to something you know, and remember the discussion so you can take it and practice it outside the therapy room.
I want to share my knowledge and experience to help you thrive and find a way to reframe and re-enchant your life. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime, superhero movies/shows, learning D&D, reading and painting. Mental health is health.
