Recent Updates From Emily Rich
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024

**Currently not accepting new clients** Sometimes couples feel as if they are stuck. Stuck in conflict, stuck in trust and communication issues, or stuck in stagnation. In my work with couples, I act as a neutral third party, striving to create a safe place in which we can work together to uncover these patterns of "stuck-ness" while also establishing a secure and loving bond between partners. I also enjoy working with women, tweens and up, seeking to make peace with food and body. I am honored to walk beside women through transitions and hardships, which often co-occur with food and body struggles.
I work from a Health at Every Size/non-diet/Intuitive Eating approach and provide support to individuals or loved ones affected by disordered eating, body image difficulties, and diet culture. Additionally, I am passionate about helping people heal from traumatic experiences through the use of body-based methods, which create change without re-traumatizing.
As a former dancer and dance instructor, I believe artistic expression can be a powerful avenue for healing and growth. I love bringing creativity into session when appropriate, such as art or writing. My dance background also means I understand the stress and pressures of being an athlete.
