Recent Updates From Esther M.
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I am a psychologist in Waco and I love what I do. I work with many concerns such as anxiety, depression, life adjustments, grief, relational conflict, women's issues, and identity formation. I have particular interest in working with folx presenting with sexual dysfunction, arousal and desire concerns, sexual identity formation, and intimacy distress. I am currently taking new clients who are seeking healing and restoration in their sexual functioning. In addition, I have a personal and professional investment in social issues and am intentional about promoting hope and justice in the work that I do.
My approach to therapy takes into account each person's intersecting identities and treatment is tailored to allow your whole self to be present and honored in the therapy space. My approach involves identifying and disentangling long-standing patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting that are often the product of relational wounds or painful experiences.
My goal is to help you examine and challenge these patterns and to identify new ways of being that provide you with the ability to authentically engage with yourself and others. My work is collaborative and together we will create emotional safety where you can engage in vulnerability, increased insight, and take practical steps to change your life.
