Recent Updates From Lindsey Sterling
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders. I have extensive experience performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for youth and adults with suspected ASD and treating symptoms and other conditions associated with ASD, such as anxiety and depression. I also work with individuals who may not have ASD, but seek support for social challenges, stress, and mood. I extend my comprehensive, expert, and compassionate care to your entire family, by offering supportive psychotherapy for siblings and parents of individuals with autism spectrum disorders as well.
I have been on faculty at UCLA, Claremont McKenna College, and CSULB, conducted NIH-funded research, directed an autism center at an academic institution, and published widely in the field of ASD. Drawing from evidence-based approaches and extensive clinical experience, I individualize my approach for each client. (Learn more at www.sterlingautism.com.)
I've been working in the field of ASD for almost 20 years, and I'm passionate about helping individuals and their families cope with challenges and capitalize on strengths. I also love working with teens/young adults who are dealing with anxiety, mood, life transitions, and other challenges. We'll work together to find the right support for you/your family.
