Profile

My aim is to provide evidence-based treatment in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the Founder/Director of the North Jersey Center for Anxiety and Stress Management. I specialize in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for adults with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, infertility, and life transitions. I have a sub-specialty in helping parents use CBT strategies to navigate the stresses of parenting. My book, Mom Brain: Proven Strategies to Fight the Anxiety, Guilt, and Overwhelming Emotions of Motherhood-and Relax into Your New Self, will be published in May 2021.
The goal of CBT is to improve functioning by changing how you think, behave, and interpret/respond to your emotions. I collaborate with clients to identify strategies for managing problems, which they can continue to use in the future as difficulties arise. For more information about my practice, see: https://www.njcbt.com; https://www.DrCBTMom.com.
I have over 15 years of experience in the field of clinical psychology, working at the following institutions: New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia University Medical Center, Rutgers University Eating Disorders Clinic, Rutgers University Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Montefiore Medical Center, and the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy.
