Recent Updates From Lorena Malave
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

With me you can expect an honest, non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic space where we can collaboratively work to: gain a deeper understanding of your authentic self, replace fear & shame with self-acceptance & compassion, establish healthier boundaries that honor your needs and wants, address barriers that are keeping you from establishing healthier relationships, replace feelings of inadequacy with a sense of confidence and self-worth, heal the wounds of oppression of racial trauma, clarify your values while creating a more meaningful life and improving communication, boundaries and emotional regulation skills.
I identify as Latina/Puerto Rican female. I was raised in a bilingual household where we spoke both English and Spanish, and I can provide therapy in either Spanish, English, or both languages based on the needs of my clients. I am incredibly passionate about helping individuals, particularly women and BIPOCs, live healthier and more authentic lives.
Embarking on the therapy process is sign of courage, strength and vulnerability. Finding a good fit with the therapist is incredibly important. If what you have read about my approach resonates with you, I invite you to contact me for a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so that we can mutually assess whether we might be a good fit to work together.
