Recent Updates From Emily Freedman
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I believe therapy is a personal journey that helps people develop insight into past and present experiences to ensure a more positive and healthy present and future. I have significant experience helping people manage feelings of anxiety and depression. I help people develop coping skills and strategies to manage anxiety and feel a sense of control over their thoughts and actions. Depression, lack of motivation, and hopelessness can feel overwhelming, so I feel committed to helping people develop and foster feelings of empowerment and fulfillment.
I also specialize in working with teens and their parents regarding issues such as emotional stabilization, self-harming behaviors, body image concerns, peer pressure and relationships, and bullying. Having survived the stress of raising teenagers three times over, I understand the complex challenges of this age. I also enjoy working with blended families.
I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment in therapy and see my role as a guide to help navigate through life’s milestones and relationships. I use humor and a straightforward approach to connect with and truly understand what my clients are experiencing. I would be happy to chat if you feel that we might be a good fit to work together.
