Recent Updates From NoVa Grief
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

NoVa Grief Support and Counseling offers a sense of comfort and connection to those who have experienced loss. While grief is a normal and human response to loss, it can also feel overwhelming, destabilizing, and lonely. Whether you are grieving a recent loss or are feeling the impact of a loss from years ago, unprocessed grief can sometimes make us feel stuck, lost, or weighed down. Through individual, family, or group support for all ages, we provide knowledge of the grieving process, increased connection to others, compassionate witness to the experience of grief, and partner with clients to move towards healing.
Our group collective of independent therapists offers support for all types of grief, including death and non-death losses. Our team includes a licensed professional counselor, art therapist, and licensed clinical social workers, with specialized training in grief therapy, including pregnancy and child loss, traumatic loss, and prolonged grief treatment.
NoVa Grief Support & Counseling is committed to bringing compassionate, client-centered, and creative approaches to grief therapy. Our work is rooted in the understanding that grief is a natural response to loss, there is no wrong or right way to grieve. Together we can find a path forward that is comfortable and unique to your needs, goals and values.
