Recent Updates From Frank Bartolomeo
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

An accomplished practitioner with 30 years of notable credentials and multifaceted expertise, clients of all backgrounds and ages have taught me that our lives are not defined by what happens to us but by how we respond to our circumstances; therapy is about collaboratively finding new and effective responses to life. Utilizing and integrating a variety of approaches, in the context of a caring relationship, I help adolescents and adults cope with: the effects of stress, divorce, loss; relationship & work dissatisfaction; depression, anxiety; alcohol & drug abuse; and family-of-origin dysfunction.
Known for a thoughtful yet straightforward manner, I offer brief consultations or longer treatment as determined by your goals and issues. I build on people's strengths and help them to accept their limitations. As a recovery therapist, I work closely with individuals, and/or their families, who are recovering from a trauma, addiction or loss.
I also conduct substance abuse assessments for the purpose of helping individuals and their families determine whether a substance use disorder is present and to decide upon the necessary level of care. A frequently requested public speaker, I also consult to mental health agencies, supervise other therapists, and offer agency-wide training.
