Recent Updates From Joanna Mercuri
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Welcome! Deciding to come to therapy is a big step. Whether you are still contemplating that decision or you are ready to take action and make changes, I will meet you where you are and support your process with compassion and patience. I take an integrated approach to treatment that is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and utilizes elements of CBT and DBT tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
I have a Master’s in Pastoral Mental Health Counseling, and I am a graduate of the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia’s Two-Year Training Program in the Integrated Treatment of Eating Disorders. I also have specialized training in working with religious and spiritual experiences and the impact these have on mental health and wellbeing.
I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation to learn more about what therapy is like and whether we would be a good fit together.
